Merlin returns to the UK this weekend, and by the looks of these two trailers, should be just as much dashing fun as the first series.

merlinThe second season of Merlin airs in the UK this weekend, and by the looks of these two trailers, should be just as much dashing fun as the first series.

Guests this season include Mackenzie Crook (currently on our screens in both Skins and Demons), who will appear in the as Cedric, who is determined to muscle in on Merlin’s position as Arthur’s right-hand-man. Sarah Parish will guest star as a troll masquerading as Lady Catrina. Adrian Lester will play the role of Myror, Charles Dance will play a character named Aredian and Santiago Cabrera returns as Lancelot.

Michelle Ryan is rumoured to return as Nimueh.

    The UK are generally more consistent with their programming than the US. The first season of Merlin ran completely uninterrupted during its 13-week run in the UK.

  4. 10 would be smart to fast-track this, they have new NCIS, celebrity masterchef and if they get merlin season 2 back on they might be able to replicate some of the success of the start of the year. how do UK series run usually? do they show all episodes each week in a straight run or do they take breaks and hiatuses like america?
