  1. FJ, I don’t care if Nine shows “Fringe” live as it happens in the US on “Go”.

The picture quality is so unspeakably awful on that channel that I wouldn’t dream of watching a quality show like FRinge on it, especially so given Nine’s blatant censorship of the show last year.

  2. I doubt Ten will fasttrack House, as they got better viewing figures by showing them in the Australian 2010 season that the fast-tracked episodes shown late last year. I think Seven will follow the same principle of delaying Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters until next year to avoid that big Christmas/non-ratings gap.

  3. Three Rivers is getting fast tracked at 9.30 Wednesday, and Lie To Me is getting fast tracked at 9.30 Tuesday. Not much room for House, unless Three Rivers gets axed in the US quickly. The reviews are bad so that may happen.

Sport is going to play havoc with Fox shows too.

  4. I know TEN is fast tracking NCIS, NCIS LA, Glee, Flash Forward. Possibly Lie To Me/House. Lie To Me will get the Tues 9.30 spot of course, House the 9.30 spot after NCIS LA on Wednesday.

Nine is fast tracking 2.5 Men..

  5. They had the Community pilot on Facebook for a while, and it’s a damn good watch. Not only is McHale superb to watch (the magic he works on The Soup is easily brought over to Community), but Chevy Chase steals the show every second he’s on screen.

Luckily NBC has put it in quite a good timeslot, so here’s hoping it can survive the slaughter that is fall season.

  6. NCIS, NCIS:LA and Flash Forward all seem to be fast tracked. I would really love to see Lie To Me fast tracked and if Ten fast track House you’d think Lie to Me would be too. Castle, Bones, Brothers and Sisters, Housewives love to see them fast tracked but you just know they won’t. I thought Seven would put Flash Forward on Sunday 8.30 to replace Bones, but if Bones is starting in the US in 9 days why don’t Seven just fast track that.

I’m still behind in House, Heroes and Dexter so won’t mind some time to catch up.

  7. Wow I didn’t know there was a second season of Clone Wars coming – my boy will be happy bout that! Looking fwd to Community and (for curiosity sake) MP and SGU (told a friend SGU would be fast-tracked – he still can’t wait a week! – this is the world we are now living in people!)

  8. On a related though, I’m still peeved that Showtime decided to not order any new series this year. I was really looking forward to that Matthew Perry project, which seemed like a modern day Larry Sanders Show. Hopefully they pick up the ball next year, as while their current offerings are generally great (This American Life, Dexter, Californication, Tara) with HBO back on their game (Hung, True Blood), they really can’t afford to cruise along.

  9. Phew, yes, my “Tivo” is set to get a heavy workout over the next few weeks 😉

I can’t see Ten fast-tracking So You Think You Can Dance, likely they’ll on-sell the next season to Fox8. Same with Melrose, as the ratings failure that was 90210 won’t see Ten going out of their way for it.

For me it’s September 17, 20, and 27 that I’m looking forward to. I’m crazily desperate to see the Seinfeld reunion on Curb, and hopefully Bored to Death will be a good watch.

I’m hoping HBO announces the new season premiere of The Life and Times of Tim soon. I adore that show.

  10. Personal “Fast tracking” starts again tonight with Melrose Place … As if we will get what we want fast-tracked by the netwoprks here … go on Networks, proove me wrong! I dare you!!!!
    Jack!

  11. Yes…I know the dates now so I can down…err, wait patiently for our networks here to air them in order without interruption until the end of the season.

    Of course 😉

  12. David, great list. I will wait with bated breath regarding what the FTA networks do with Dexter #4 and Brothers and Sisters. Hopefully it’s not next year before we see them….

  13. Wow, the torrents will be woking overtime on the morning following Sunday, Sept. 27.
I’d say maybe 5% of those shows will be fast-tracked by networks, and 95% fast tracked by those people actually living in 2009 and know how to use the internet.

  14. Are any networks fast-tracking this year?? I can only think of Flash Forward, Glee and NCIS. Knowing crappy Australian TV, probably not, we’ll have to wait 6 months or not see these shows at all.

I thought ten would be all over Melrose Place.
