UK pop star Lily Allen makes her appearance on tonight’s episode of Neighbours, filmed in June at the show’s Nunawading studios.
Allen makes an appearance at a scene in a radio station with Zeke (Matthew Werkmeister) and Dr. Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher) and performs part of “22” in an an accoustic performance.
Allen has been an avid fan of the show since childhood. Many of the cast stayed around long after they were due to finish to meet Allen, watch her film her scene and to get a photo with her.
On the day she filmed, Allen Twittered: “Neighbours, everybody needs good Neighbours. OMFG! Just saw Paul Robinson and Libby Kennedy” and “Ok, so I did my scene. Me and Doctor Karl get our flirt on. Quite funny.”
Meanwhile Jason Coleman also makes the first of several appearances.
It airs at 6:30pm on TEN.

Loved her performance, quite a humorous ep!
These kind of episodes are always worth watching. They’re a great giggle to see how outrageously a celebrity is slotted into an episode. They tend to make for some of the most memorable episodes.
Who could forget The Wiggles driving through Ramsay street arriving in the Big Red Car to Felicity’s (Holly Valance) 18th birthday… ridiculous hahaha.
