James Tobin rises to the weather
Yesterday James Tobin became the new weather presenter on Weekend Sunrise while the Today show is also on the hunt.

Yesterday James Tobin became the new weather presenter on Weekend Sunrise.
He will join Andrew O’Keefe, Samantha Armytage, Sharyn Ghidella and Simon Reeve on the team, travelling to a different part of the country to bring the forecasts.
Executive Producer Michael Pell says, “James has been part of the Sunrise team for the last 18 months in the role of entertainment reporter. Recently he filled in on Sunrise weather while Fifi Box was on holidays and proved to be outstanding. He has really found his niche.”
Tobin will continue to report for both Sunrise and The Morning Show, for whom he has filed Entertainment stories.

Meanwhile Weekend Today is also looking for a new weather presenter via the public.

met this guy a few weeks back when sunrise came to melbourne for the grand final special. he really is lovely, and you can tell he likes what he does, so maybe he’s happy in his niche!
