Telstra customers can now watch Foxtel on their iPhone for a daily or monthly fee.
There is an Ultimate Combo for $18 capped per month, Mobile Foxtel 2 pack combo’s such as Kids and Entertainment available for $12 per month and day passes of $4. Following improvements in video streaming on the Next G network, it streams at double the regular Mobile Foxtel speed.
Telstra Mobile TV services are also unmetered, which means they can be viewed without affecting their monthly data usage allowance.
No advice yet for other carriers, or for an iPhone application for Foxtel.
Telstra is a 50% owner of Foxtel.

They have apps for Symbiam-Nokia… how hard is to do the same thing for iPhone???
Sky+ have an iPhone app. It features heavily on O2 ads for the iPhone. Surely foxtel can have the same thing???
I totally agree Fabbri. – Frankston
I think an Iphone application that allows you to Remote Record via IQ is way overdue….
I’m appalled that there isn’t one available already, considering how prevalent Iphones are.
And as mentioned, Foxtel doesn’t count towards your data limit.
Alex, you certainly get what you pay for (especially if you don’t live in the CBD).
That said, I pay for Optus :p
did telstra sell any iphones?? Their pricing is absurd! Data packs are like $50 for under 400mb with phone calls and what not above their contract.. This might actually be one of their only selling points
