Pay TV salesman facing rape charges
The Melbourne Magistrates Court has heard that a Foxtel salesman allegedly digitally raped a 9 year old girl last week.

A student working as a salesman for Foxtel allegedly raped a nine-year-old girl at her home last week, a court has heard.
The Age notes the man, 28, worked as a door-to-door salesman for the pay TV company. It states that last Wednesday he approached the owner of a Noble Park home.
The Melbourne Magistrates Court heard yesterday that when the householder declined and the salesman left, her two children, 8 & 9, went outside to the front yard, where he is alleged to have digitally raped the girl in front of her brother.
A Foxtel spokesperson told TV Tonight, “This is a very concerning allegation which we treat with the utmost seriousness.
“However, the matter is currently subject to a police investigation and is therefore subject to the normal legal processes, so we cannot comment further on this specific case. Both Foxtel and sales force partner Salmat have co-operated fully with the police in their investigations.”
The man has been remanded for a committal mention in January.
