While filming a segment for Nine’s Cybershack series on Tuesday model Erin McNaught partially severed a finger during a motorcycle accident.
An electronic dirt bike accelerated out under her causing her hand to become trapped in a wheel.
She was rushed to Royal North Shore hospital where she had three hours of surgery yesterday to reattach the finger.
Last night she was recovering in hospital.
The former Neighbours actress and Miss Universe Australia entrant had been hoping to make an appearance tonight on the red carpet for the ARIA Awards, but despite ambitions, is unlikely to make the show.
Her spokeswoman confirmed she was traumatised by the accident.

Does anyone know what cybershack will return?
Fingers crossed that she’s okay… 😉
Silver lining: this might mean less Cybershack on our screens.
Hmmm…Hex should watch out on Good Game then…what with going with populism/selling out…
Was with TEN. Been with Nine since Feb 2008.
Ouch! That’s awful. Hope her finger is saved.
Cybershack (which is in fact just an hour of paid product placement) is on TEN I believe.
