RocKwiz turns 100

This Saturday night will be see the 100th episode for SBS music trivia show RocKwiz -not a bad innings for a show that started in the same year as Spicks and Specks.

Host Julia Zemiro, Brian Nankervis, the RocKwiz Orkestra and roadie Dugald welcome Bran Nue Dae performer Dan Sultan, and singer Ella Hooper.

Hooper was in the RocKwiz pilot in 2003, also attended by was one of this episode’s contestants from the audience.

Both Sultan and Hooper will perform a version of Graham Parker’s ‘Hold Back the Night’ before bringing the house with an encore number.

The show is also touring the country next year.

It airs Saturday, 28th November at 9.20pm on SBS ONE.
