Stargate Universe to TEN

robert-carlyleSome readers have been asking about ads for Stargate Universe coming to TEN.

The series will indeed air over summer, but so far there is no airdate.

This is a pretty swift move from Pay Television to Free to Air, given the series only began on the Sci Fi Channel in October, where it was fastracked from the US.

Starring critically acclaimed actor Robert Carlyle (The Full Monty, Trainspotting), SGU ollows a band of soldiers, scientists and civilians, who must fend for themselves as they are forced through a Stargate when their hidden base comes under attack. The desperate survivors emerge aboard an ancient ship, which is locked on an unknown course and unable to return to Earth.

Faced with meeting the most basic needs of food, water and air, the group must unlock the secrets of the ship’s Stargate to survive. The danger, adventure and hope they find on board the Destiny will reveal the heroes and villains among them.

  1. Big fan, extremely disappointed that channel 10 had the cheek to
put three episodes on , and I am asking now what? Where is it! The only pleasure i get is watching SGU, I realise us sci/fi fans have to battle the time slots for reality shows and tear jerker soapies..
Please bring it back or I will have to wait to the dvd comes out.
