Well, we definitely wouldn’t want any wardrobe malfunctions here…
Legendary rock band The Who will play the halftime show at SuperBowl XLIV. The band was the top act at the Australian Grand Prix earlier this year.
America’s biggest sports game will take place on February 7th (US). More than 150 million viewers watched this year as Bruce Springsteen took to the stage. Other recent acts have included Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Prince, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and of course Janet Jackson & Justin Timberlake.
With The Who performing it will be like SuperBowl meets CSI…altogether now “Whoooooo are you…..? Who who, who who?”

I can see the hyperactive Keith Moon smashing his drum kit up there in heaven for missin’ this particular gig, an awesome drummer, third best ever after Gene Krupa and Brian Bennett, I just know he would want to be at Super Bowl, what XLIV is it? LOL how sad is it, Ive seen 35 of them and I’ll definitely be watching this one on ONE.
And what city is the SuperBowl being played in next year?
Miami.
Nice, though they probably won’t get to use the line “who the f**k are you?” in that song…
With that question answered, the next is what show CBS will choose as their lead-out. As a biased Survivor fan, I think they will choose Survivor All-Stars 2 to capitalise on the big audience recognising past contestants, just like they did with All Stars 1.
I want to be there !
Next year’s Superbowl will be telecast by CBS (which co-produces CSI) in the US. Is it coincidence or not?
Always on the ball Johnson. 😉
