GO! has jumped on the Tiger Woods story and brought forward its screening of the aptly titled Tool Academy, featuring Jaimee Grubbs, who claims to have had an affair with Woods for two-and-a-half years.
The reality show is dedicated to “taking the most arrogant, dishonest, thoughtless and unfaithful boyfriends and transforming them into husband material.”
Tool Academy features eight other frustrated women who are all dating complete “tools”, including Jenna, whose boyfriend Ryan is kind and caring – until he turns into his alter ego “Matsu-Flex”, a tattooed tool who feeds off the attention of other women and gets around clubs in nothing but underwear which he calls his “man panties”.
Each week therapist Trina Dolenz uses her supreme powers to detect a truly incorrigible tool and eliminate one of the contestants. Upon elimination, the tool in question gets one shot at convincing his girlfriend that he is able to change before she decides on the spot whether or not to dump him for good.
In the end only one tool will remain and win a cash prize of $100,000 – and the title of “Mr Awesome”.
Tool Academy premieres on GO! this Sunday, December 6 at 8.30pm and then screens on Tuesdays at 9.30pm. As a result South Park is out and The Bachelorette to 10:30pm.

Flicking over to A Current Affair on Friday night I started watching what I thought was a story on Tiger Woods and his affair with Jaimee Grubbs but it turned out to be a 5 minute promo for Tool Academy complete with the so called reporter on the story tellling us we could catch Ms. Gurbbs in Tool Academy which just so happened to be premiering on GO! Sunday at 8.30pm.

@ mac. Agreed, using the tiger woods thing as a marketing tool, forgive the pun, is one of the main reasons im not watching it, because I couldn’t care less. Aside from that, from your write up David, it looks completely stupid, like most US reality relationship shows. And is it just me, or is $100 000 a small amount for prize money? Although I guess, a tool will take anything :S

At least they replaced South Park. More filfth then I can count on any other show on this channel.

The Go website says Sunday South Park will return on the 13th of December and Bachelorette will be on at 10:30pm.
