Seven to stars: 2 strikes and you’re out.

xxThe Seven Network has been forced to respond to bad behaviour by its stars following Home and Away‘s Todd Lasance facing a drugs charge.

It will enforce a “Two strikes and you’re out” policy on staff involved in drugs-related behaviour.

A spokesperson said, “We have access to the best advice and systems in order to manage crises or events such as this but, fundamentally, responsibility and discipline must be followed through. There are no second chances” (….wouldn’t One Strike mean there are no second chances?).

Other Seven personalities who have copped bad press for their private lives include Jodi Gordon and Todd McKenney, whose drug charges laid after he was found unconscious in a Sydney park in 2008 were later dropped.

The difficulty for Seven could be that charges would likely have to stick before their new policy takes effect, but presumably it is hoping it will act as a deterrent.
