“And why were they experimenting on polar bears in the first place?”

How will Lost ever answer all the questions it has raised in its 5 seasons?

Those cheeky Fine Brothers, who have previously given us online parodies of Lost, including Lost meets Heroes and Lost meets Star Trek, have now given up another.

Using the song “Downtown” from one of the episodes, they suggest the writers will never be able to answer all the questions the show has raised over 5 seasons.

Funnily enough, Matthew Fox has told The Guardian, “…when you have a show that makes people think as much as Lost; where you’ve made them hypothesise about what it all means and where it’s all going on a plot level; ultimately you’re going to disappoint them because they’re going to want it to end a certain way, and it’s going to end its own way. There are going to be people out there who’ve written it in their minds.”

Meanwhile there’s a very extensive YouTube clip of the Oceanic plane crashing in real time a la 24 here. It’s been re-edited to put flashback sequences in chronological order.

The show returns in the US next week with an Australian date yet to be announced.

  1. Sure I want answers but I hope they don’t try to explain every little thing. Like when Star Wars introduced metachlorians as an explaination for the Force. It takes away the fun and mystery!

As long as they answer the big questions and resolve the characters I’ll be happy.
