Children’s production companies merge

Two production companies specialising in children’s production have announced a merger: Buster Dandy Productions and Sticky Pictures.

Buster Dandy Productions has produced puppet animation series Five Minutes More for the ABC while Sticky Pictures has produced Wendy Harmer’s Pearlie (pictured) for TEN, Dennis & Gnasher for Nine and Monster Auditions for SBS.

The new company will operate under the banner of Sticky Pictures and will offer a ‘one-stop shop’ for both live action and animation styles. Donna Andrews will be CEO, Stu Connolly as Head of Animation and Justine Flynn as Head of Live Action.

Buster Dandy also brings a greenlit co-production sitcom to the newly formed company which will be announced soon.

The company is based in Glebe, NSW.
