Could Obama bump Lost?
America's TV President may deliver The State of the Union on February 2nd ...and upset the season return of Lost.

Everytime their President opens his mouth TV schedules go out of whack.
That’s because the USA has themselves a TV president -one who loves to take to the box for his latest public declarations.
Last year there were a number of shows that were held over while President Obama made another address to the nation. FOX began to call “enough” on this and said it was moving on with normal programming.
But the “State of the Union” is a big deal -it may impact on ABC’s 2 hr return of Lost. The White House is still deciding whether to opt for January 26 or February 2nd. If the second date is selected, ABC may be forced to delay Lost until February 9th.
Fans have taken to Twitter to express their fury.
‘#NoStateofUnionFeb2’ wrote: “Hey Obama, don’t mess with the Lost season 6 premiere *shakes fist violently* Go screw Idol over”.
Another tweeted: “Barack Obama has clearly never seen Josh Holloway without a shirt on.”
Seven probably agrees….
Updated: “I don’t foresee a scenario in which the millions of people that hope to finally get some conclusion in Lost are preempted by the President,” White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said.

Also, ABC (America) News have just posted that Lost will go ahead on Feb. 2!
We could leak it, but it won’t be in HD and the warez groups hate that! 😛
Funnily enough, we ‘leaked’ the last episode of Flashforward before America because of Thanksgiving.
Seven might get their name out there, again.
Surely whatever day it is shown, the show it bumps will be delayed to the week after, and it causes a ripple effect, so Lost will be hit for either date.
I was wondering if the UK or Canada might air it before the US if it is delayed, must be a pain from programmers trying to set their schedules for the coming few months.
The equivilant over here would only be broadcast on abc so why does every station over there have to broadcast it.

Maybe us Aussies will get a chance to ruin the show by leaking it onto Bittorrent before it airs in the states?
A season premiere airing is Australia due to fast-tracking before the US would be awesome!
After the FF slams I doubt it will be allowed again anytime soon.
A few comments on this:
*It’s the “State Of The Union” address, not “State Of The Nation”
*Bush became a “TV President” during the second half of his term…he made televised addresses at the same rate that Obama is doing now
*Am I the only person who notices something suss in FOX going with normal programming?
With coverage available there on CNN, FOX, CNBC, PBS etc., why do the commercials need to carry it too? Purely political reasons and to stay onside with the White House. The State of the Nation could be covered in 10-secs. “Mah fellow Americans. We’re broke, we’re stuffed, the rest of the world hates us. Goodnight….and God bless America”.
Obama should be at home on Feb 2 to watch it LOL
