  1. well the first night of dance was bloody awesome! some pretty good dancers in the bunch so far. I was a bit dissapointed in the biggest loser, it seemed to be everywhere, usuallly they would all weigh in together and tell their stories for the first time and we didnt get that and we didnt get the introduction to the trainers either. still good though.

  2. Wow the nine network bombed saturday night, even network ten beat them that must be the worst performance they every had. Next saturday they will have 3 hours of Two and Half men. Hehehe

  3. Anyone who’s got foxtel must be getting pi**ed off with all the Vancouver Olympic promo’s they are running. It’s getting very annoying watching foxtel now. Also foxtel have placed an Vancouver winter olympics watermark on most of their channels trying to get people to pay for extra channels. I really don’t give a stuff about winter olympics & channel 9 will show the Australian events for free.

  4. odd ratings for Neighbours this week, Friday had better ratings than Monday, I know 500,000 isnt a lot, but its a tiny bit of growth, am I crazy to hope that next weeks ratings are all 500,000+

Have to agree Neighbours UK connection is what will keep it alive, but I find it hard to believe TEN are happy with it at the moment, they most know they need to make some changes, can it really afford a 500,000 show on primetime?

  5. i love neighbours! its so much better and realistic than home and away. Home and away is so fake, they need to spend more time getting people who can act instead of getting in people just cause they are hot!

  6. Wow, those ratings for Neighbours are shocking. I know it has rated poorly over the last few years, but how can any drama survive with those ratings? Must be the foreign sales keeping it afloat, because it certainly isn’t the domestic audience.

  7. @Scott
Does this mean that Neighbours is the only show exempt from cancellation?
If so, what possible motivation is there for anyone involved to improve the show
    or it’s ratings?

  8. 420,000 people watching Neighbours is depressingly poor. If this was any other scripted drama it would be cancelled. However, as Ten have so little drama, need the drama quota points and make a bucket load of money from sales of it to the UK, the show must be reckoned to be pretty safe.
