Airdate: Warehouse 13

The SciFi Channel will premiere a series described as "part The X-Files, part Raiders of the Lost Ark and part Moonlighting."

The SciFi Channel will premiere US scifi series co-created by Buffy writer Jane Espenson described as “part The X-Files, part Raiders of the Lost Ark and part Moonlighting.”

The series follows starring two Secret Service agents, who find themselves abruptly transferred to Warehouse 13 — a top-secret storage facility which houses supernatural objects in windswept South Dakota.

The series stars Joanne Kelly and Eddie McClintock as agents reassigned to retrieve missing objects and investigate reports of new ones.

McClintock plays Pete Lattimer, a handsome, athletic Secret Service Agent whose impulsive, intuitive nature often leads him to leap before he looks. There is hardly a situation so dire to which he can’t find the lighter side. Kelly portrays Secret Service Agent Myka Bering, a woman born to be an agent. Organised and focused, she believes in hard work, solid planning and steadfast execution. Needless to say, it is an approach that causes conflict with Pete’s off-the-cuff style.

The 2009 US premiere was Syfy’s third largest debut to date and the series has already been renewed for a second season.

A feature-length premiere will screen on Friday, March 5 at 7.30pm. Season 1 continues with single episodes from Friday, March 12 at 7.30pm.

  1. This is a Brilliant show. Make no mistake, it is superb. if you love xfiles and that type of show, then Warehouse 13 will rock your socks off. And wait for the cracking finale in ep 13 … as Richie Benaud would say … super stuff that!

  2. I’ll give it a whirl, but given it airs in 5 weeks I’ll no doubt forget! David, I propose you introduce an ‘upcoming’ styled calendar for new series, premieres and shows worth noting… Would really help keep track of these things 😀
