Foxtel’s coverage of the Vancouver Olympic Winter Games begins at 4:50am- 6:15am AEDT on Saturday morning with Ski Jumping  Men’s Individual Qualifying Rounds and resumes at 12:55pm.

The bulk of its broadcast begins with a two hour live special, Welcome to Vancouver hosted by Steve Liebmann and Tiffany Cherry, Saturday, February 13 at 7:30pm AEDT.

It will air across Foxtel’s four dedicated Olympic Games channels as well as a live simulcast on FOX8 and FOX Classics.

Along with studio hosts Tracey Holmes, Adam Peacock and James Bracey, it promises to give viewers a taste of what lies ahead with our Aussie athletes.

Foxtel’s Winter Games ambassador, Vancouver resident, Michael Bublé will appear ahead of a highly-anticipated grudge match in ice hockey between Canada vs USA on February 21st.

Roving Foxtel Olympic Winter Games reporters Matt Shirvington, Sarah Jones and Ruby Rose will give a flavour of Vancouver atmosphere while Australian Winter Olympic gold medallists Steven Bradbury and Alisa Camplin are interviewed on their tips for gold.

Foxtels Olympic channels available in both SD and HD are as follows:

  1. I can’t wait for the Olympics to finish so all these annoying extra channels will be gone. I also noticed Foxtel placed some strategic New To Foxtel information channels right in the middle of the Movie and News Channels.
