In the wake of the Conan / Leno debacle, the Comedy Channel has amended its late night line-up as of this week.
The final Jay Leno Show will air on February 10 before he returns to The Tonight Show.
Here is the new line-up:
Late Show With David Letterman
Monday to Friday at 10.30pm. New timeslot
David Letterman marks his 28th year in late night comedy this year, and his 15th year as the host of the Late Show With David Letterman. After more than 4,500 late night broadcasts, he remains one of the most influential personalities in the history of television. Other than the late Johnny Carson, who hosted “The Tonight Show” for 30 years, no late night host comes near Letterman in longevity, critical praise and award recognition. Often imitated but never matched, Letterman presents, night after night, an unpredictable hour of innovative comedy.
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon
Exclusive Monday to Friday at 11.15pm. New timeslot
Jimmy Fallon is only the third person to host Late Night since it began nearly three decades ago – the other two being David Letterman & Conan O’Brien. After first garnering attention in 1998 when he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live Fallon quickly became an audience favourite for his memorable recurring characters and spot-on impressions; and in 2000 Fallon became the co-anchor of the SNL’s signature segment “Weekend Update” alongside Tina Fey. A recognized comic talent and film and television star, Fallon has demonstrated an ability to deliver versatile standout performances while always staying grounded in his stand-up roots.
Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Monday to Friday at Midnight. New timeslot.
Emmy-award winning comedian immy Kimmel (The Man Show, Win Ben Stein’s Money) Jimmy Kimmel took the world by storm when two hilarious music clips from his talk-show Jimmy Kimmel Live! became a YouTube phenomenon; the Emmy-award winning song ‘‘I’m F***ing Matt Damon” which was sung to him by his then girlfriend, Sarah Silverman, and his own response, the star studded “‘I’m F***ing Ben Affleck”. Now The Comedy Channel is bringing this show directly to you, hot off the satellite, five nights a week.
In addition the Comedy Channel continues to air:
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report
Weeknights at 6.30pm / 7pm
Your fix of news parody comes to you in prime time with The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report from 6:30pm weeknights going head-to-head with those tabloid-style current affairs shows we’re far too refined to mention. As we increasingly move towards a global society, and with a world financial crisis and major political changes in the USA these 2 cool cats of current affairs comedy will cut through the crap by informing, satirizing and entertaining you each weeknight, hot off the satellite, fresher and funnier than ever before!
The Tonight Show with Jay Leno recommences on The Comedy Channel from midnight Wednesday March 3 (replays Tues-Sat at 12pm).
UPDATE: The Comedy Channel advises Jimmy Kimmel leaves the channel from March, allowing The Tonight Show to replay at midnight. From March 3 the schedule is 10:30 Letterman, 11:15 Fallon, midnight Leno (first run)

Keep Jimmy axeJay save some money to buy Conan’s inevitable new show
Kimmel – Great another casually in the wake of Leno’s chin, thanks for the update David. I just love the fact Letterman is on at 10:30 and Leno is back at midnight, karma?
Damn you Leno!
First Conan, now Kimmel.
Agree 100% JD
Kimmel is 20 times the comedian that Leno is, Leno’s time has past him by.
Sucks we are losing him dam u CC…
So The Comedy Channel had to pay more for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and loses Kimmel?
I keep saying it but they need to get Craig Ferguson!
what, no kimmel???
Kimmel gone you have got to be kidding.
Kimmel is 20 times the comedian that Leno is, Leno’s time has past him by.
Totally agree Suz,watch the ratings drop
Fallon sucks!!! Drop him for Kimmel.

What will happen to Leno on 7TWO? will they continue to air it once he returns to the tonight show?
I think The Comedy Channel means to say The Tonight Show with Jay Leno will air at 12.45am (Tues-Sat) instead of 12am which is when Jimmy Kimmel is on.
I might email the comedy channel about this.
Dump the Jimmy’s and put Craig F on please !!!!!
ITA it’s time to move to 16:9 and not just the Comedy Channel, Arena, TV1 and a number of others have heaps of shows now in WS. I did notice the E! moved to 16:9 with little fan fare, maybe it’s because a number of it’s own shows are still not WS?
It’s a pretty good reshuffle of shows, especially with Leno on last, considering what’s happened…
with the daily show and colbert report now broadcast in HD in the USA, in addition to these late night shows, it’s time Comedy moved to 16:9……..
I hate it when some of their shows [bill maher, etc] are a small wide screen picture with a huge black frame around it……
The times are as supplied to me. I am checking how the Tonight Show can be repeated at midnight when Kimmel is on then….
Story says that Kimmel is on at Midnight, and Leno is on at 12am. Which is the same time.
Good move Comedy Channel. It was good to watch Dave last night at 10.30pm and not have to wait until Ten aired the same episode at midnight.
What? Leno will be on at noon to make way for that other rubbish? How stupid.
ETA – wait how can Leno and Jimmy Kimmel both air at 12am (midnight) or am I mixing up my am and pm’s?
So Leno is being removed form the late night line-up to be placed at Noon Tue-Sat with no 2 day delay for the Friday show?
Is there any news how long Jimmy Fallon will stick around waiting for Leno to retire again?
Good to seen Letterman being bought to the front at 10:30pm (9:30 in QLD while DLS is on) much better time to catch it.
The earlier timeslot for Letterman could surely take a big chunk out of Ten’s airing, especially as it will probably be a stable time.
