Returning: Kids’ Choice Awards (US)

Nickelodeon will fastrack the US Kids' Choice Awards next month, hosted by Kevin James.

It’s slime time in the US soon as Nickelodeon’s 23rd Annual Kids’ Choice Awards is fast-tracked by Nickelodeon Australia for local broadcast on Sunday, March 28 at 6.30pm.

To be held on the campus of UCLA in Los Angeles California it will be hosted by Kevin James (Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Zookeeper, Grown Ups The King of Queens)

Bizarrely, Australian Sam Worthington and Avatar co-star Zoe Saldana are up against President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama in the brand new category for “Cutest Couple”.

  1. I just saw on Nickelodeon the new Nickelodeon logo (Nickelodeon in orange lowercase letters) on the Fresh beat band show.

Though the “splat logo” is stiill used as the watermark here.

  2. I love it how Nickelodeon has it’s rivals shows in its own award ceremony…Wizards and Suite Life are both on the Disney Channel, which means they’re promoting their competitor

  3. This is going to look stupid, if Oz still had the splat, while the broadcast will have the new logo everywhere. I’d think they will finally introduce the new logo, the night of the US KCA’s. Any later, in this twitter powered world, e.g. April Fools Day, people will not believe that Nick’s dropped the splat.
