Returning: King of the Hill

If you have been wondering where King of the Hill went on 7TWO it is back next month.

If you have been wondering where King of the Hill went on 7TWO it is back next month, but in a low-level timeslot.

The show returns 11:45pm Friday March 11, replacing the repeats of Australia’s Greatest Athlete.

It returns with “Trans-Fascism” S12 E11.

When the City Council bans the sale of foods containing trans fats, Hank’s favorite restaurant goes out of business.

  1. @ nelly: Cleveland is no longer airing due to Ten’s schedule currently being inundated with their local reality shows.

@ Mason Hell-Cat: Unfortunately, due to low sales, only the first 6 (of 13) seasons have been released on DVD, with only the first 5 available in Australia.

  2. argh !!!! i guess the know this show will have viewers whenever they show it … they always shcedule it crazy times.

The Cleveland show is already over? kinda didnt even notice it gone .. .actually anything on befoore 930 these days is too early to catch. i like that japanese game show, but i never watch it except on tivo after it gets recorded ~ 9-11.30 is the new primetime 😛

  3. 7TWO could take a few notes from Go!, instead of playing British shows twice a night, why don’t they devote the Saturday night slot to a King of the Hill marathon.

  4. @ Franz Chong,

Why put on an animated program that is targeted at Adults (primarily the 18-49 age group) when the majority of them would not be watching. There’s a reason that M*A*S*H is on at that time, it’s because of the 50+ age group being more likely to be home and watching TV, thus why M*A*S*H* and Antiques Roadshow both air at 5pm.

  5. I have a better idea.Move it to 5pm on Seven as a lead in to deal or no deal.It is not that old and most of us have not seen the episodes due to them being on so late at night

  6. Sillygostly The Cleveland show is not even screening anymore also look at shows like Supernatural, Stargate Universe, 90210 and One Tree Hill, (which has often been schedule on Saturday afternoons only to be taken off because of Jaime Oliver repeats, Sport, Biggest Loser repeats and award shows infact it hasn’t screened an episode since early December even though it has occasionly meant to reapear and with AFL starting good luck seeing it in the next few months) 7 are by no means perfect but atleast they reschedule shows even if it is late at night.

  7. Why don’t they try what GO! is doing with low rating shows like The Hills and Side Order of Life and put them on in the afternoons… or in Seven Two’s case because they have soaps on….

    how about mornings

    eg 11 am weekdays ?

Or are shows like King of the Hill not allowed on in the mornings ?

  8. @Stephen H: How can Ten’s treatment of KotH possibly get any worse than how Seven has been treating it over the years? KotH only ever pops up on schedule what seems to be once every 2-3 years, and even so, it never remains in the same timeslot for more than 2-3 weeks.

At least Ten could slot it alongside Simpsons, Futurama and The Cleveland Show, where it would have at least some chance of building an audience (particularly if they start from the early episodes).

  9. My God. It’s on a digitial multichannel and yet they’re *still* screwing with the timeslot. Really? 11.45pm on a barely-watched digital channel? They could have at least given us the courtesy of airing it on the main channel so we can watch the show in HD (once season 13 rolls around).

    Sell it to Ten.

    Sell. It. To. Ten.

  10. As long as they play out episodes I don’t really care this show has never really had a stable timeslot and I always recorded it anyway so I will just continue doing that. Its more shows like 30 Rock that are still making episodes in the US and have a future that I think should be played in a better timeslot.

  11. What a stupid move by 7TWO.It was good on sunday nights at around 7.30pm.This week it’s been bumped for Cool Runnings,a movie that was on Seven just 3 weeks ago.
Yet again free-to-air networlk screw with viewers
