Returning: The Simpsons

Yep....The Simpsons to its traditional 6pm slot on TEN as of Monday night. And Biggest Loser repeats during arvos.

TEN is tweaking its early evening schedule by returning The Simpsons to its traditional 6pm slot as of Monday night.

It’s back with “Milhouse Doesn’t Live Here Anymore.”

Malcolm in the Middle will no longer screen at 6pm, as the network seeks to improve its evening share.

TEN is also adding The Biggest Loser repeats to 3pm weekdays bumping Judge Judy out of schedule, and where a 1 hr episode airs, Dharma & Greg is also out.

    what new episodes of The Simpons & The Cleveland Show?? We’re not that far behind the US at the moment, wouldn’t it make more sense for Channel 10 to stockpile and few episodes and then air them all at once in say April/May, then have them on and off the air for the next few months (as with what happens this time of year in the US, they mix in new episodes with repeats)

  3. I liked the Malcolm in the middle episodes. I did not usually watch the 6pm Simpsons episodes.

    IMalcolm in the middle’s ratings seemed to fluctuate between 400-550k. I am not sure what numbers the 6pm Simpsons usually got.

    Mitm had seven seasons. Ten is near the end of season three at the moment.

  5. Is this really going to improve things for Ten?

    Sure, it feels “right” because we’re used to 6pm being Simpsons time, but was The Simpsons ever really outdoing what MITM has been rating lately?

  6. Channel 10 you are getting on my last nerve …. Supernatural, SGU, The Office, Nurse Betty, Smallville (yes I have a long memory) gone or badly treated and now Judge Judy the only thing I watch during the day.
    Biggest Loser is not a new show and already has a following. This daytime repeat is really not necessary and seems a bit sad and desperate.

  7. *sigh* I hope this doesn’t last long. Ten are really in shambles with their programming at the mo.

    My idea for the 7pm project would be to move it to 6:30pm (yes obviously they could change the name to suit the timeslot) and put neighbours on at 6! That way the 7pm project can compete with ACA and TT, offer an alternative, and a quality one at that! Do it TEN!

  12. even though it finished years ago i just started watching dhama and greg when it started aired on ten, and watched it during the holidays, i now finding my self watching it on foxtel at night sometimes.

    repeats of biggest loser couldn’t rate higher than judge judy, how many people would really fall in to the category of wanted to watch the bl last night but could not and is are now home during the day to do so.

  15. Didn’t take long for the Simpsons to return at 6.

    And finally, Judge Judy is out.. I’ve been sick of her show for ages!!!! lol. Although, im not sure if the Biggest Loser repeats will last at 3

  22. This makes me so angry! How can ten throw out a quality show to repeat the biggest losers, get rid of either hughies or ready steady switch (channel).

    As for no more malcom, I’m outraged, I was loving the 6pm repeats, taped them every single day, they bring back memories of the early 2000s.
