Third showrunner for FlashForward

After only 10 episodes aired, FlashForward is about to get its third showrunner.

After only 10 episodes aired, FlashForward is about to get its third showrunner.

Co-creator David Goyer is stepping down from his role running the series, to remain “involved” but focussing on feature films and directing.

“As my feature projects have started ramping up again, I felt I was being pulled in too many directions,” said the (story) writer of The Dark Knight. “I’m proud of the show and excited about the relaunch. It’s in great hands.”

Goyer replaced Mark Guggenheim (Eli Stone) as showrunner who stepped down in October.

Such frequent shifts in creative control are never a positive in television production.

Ratings for the show in Australia dropped significantly from its big premiere. Viewers are currently up to date with US episodes, which return in America in mid March.

  2. The first couple of eps were great, but after that the quality decline faster than heroes. I’m yet to watch the last episode screened here because it just doesn’t grab my interest.

  3. this show started well and showed great promise and is a great premise, but it hasnt really delivered. Im looking forward to the remaining eps of this first series but have a feeling that it will be a one season wonder!

  4. Anther show runner, I’d be surprised if it gets a 2nd season. I won’t be surprised if this returns to 7TWO and not the main channel, I just hope it’s still fast tracked in March.
