My Place wins second season

Screen Australia approves funding for a second season of My Place along with other projects for ABC, SBS and Foxtel.

ABC children’s drama My Place has won a second season, with funding approved from Screen Australia.

The second season based on the book by Nadia Wheatley and Donna Rawlins will tell the story of children from the period from 1878 to before white settlement. The first series has aired on both ABC3 and ABC1, but a primetime slot on the latter was dropped in favour of an afternoon airing to follow in April.

Screen Australia has also approved funding for a number of documentaries for the ABC, SBS, Foxtel and the SBS Shine-produced factual series The Family in which an Australian family will live under the scrutiny of cameras for 3 months.

  1. Wow, they all look terrible. Especially Scarlet Road.

“Synopsis Scarlet Road follows the extraordinary work of Australian sex worker Rachel Wotton. Impassioned about freedom of sexual expression, she specialises in a new and emerging clientele – people with disability.”

When will people realise that those that prostitute their bodies almost universally have low self esteem, untold personal issues or have severe mental health problems including sexual addiction. It is a degrading and demoralising industry no matter how you sugar coat it (cheap gloss style like Satisfaction). Women that enter the industry thinking they are brave sexual, passionate and dominant women are just under the illusion of prostitution and general self delusion.
