Returning: Footy Classified

The often-controversial Footy Classified returns to Nine this month.

The often-controversial Footy Classified returns to Nine this month.

It returns to 10:30pm Monday March 22nd in the Melbourne market, and presumably airs at the same time in Adelaide and Perth.

At this stage Nine us yet to indicate what, if any, changes will be made to the show or the line-up this year.

Due to the launch of GO! it will not be simulcast on 9HD, nor will Thursday Footy Show episodes, so Sydney and Brisbane AFL fans will have to look out for later replays in their markets.

  1. I agree, whats the point of channel nine having two HD channels and not giving northern state viewers the benefit of the footy shows live. Get with the program nine or get out of the way.

  2. Very disappointing to read that footy fans in Sydney and Brisbane have been ignored again. Exactly what is the point of having 9HD if only to simulcast what is on Channel 9? Boring

I wonder if the cursed fourth chair will have a new controversial figure (after Carey, Archer, now Thomas)… Hmm…

  4. I’m in Sydney and it sucks either having to stay up very late to be able to watch the Footy Show. C’mon Nine, make the most of your digital channels.

  5. david- this is very dissapointing for a sydney AFL fan- with all these extra channels ..HD , GO etc etc – the fact we still cant watch these shows in sydney and brisbane is crazy..what year is this 2010….i know someone will go on about the anti- balh balh balh laws …but its ridiculous
