The original Project Runway returns to Arena this month, preceded an All Star Challenge with a task set by Ms. Nicole Kidman.

Before season six kicks off, eight of Project Runway’s top designers pair with some of the most extreme personalities from previous seasons: Daniel Vosovic, Santino Rice, Jeffrey Sebelia, Uli Herzner, Mychael Knight, Chris March, Sweet P, and Korto Momolu. It includes a task set by Nicole Kidman for the red carpet for the premiere of Nine. The winner will also walk away with US$100,000. Tim Gunn said, “I firmly believe that this cast is the most talented group ever. Season six will prove to be one of the best.”

The returning judges, world renowned fashion designer Michael Kors and Marie Claire magazine fashion director Nina Garcia, will be joined each week by a slew of celebrity guests, including Christina Aguilera, Eva Longoria and Lindsay Lohan.

Project Runway series six gets underway at 8.30pm, followed by the season premiere of Models of the Runway at 9.30pm.

The new companion series will give viewers a no-holds-barred look at Project Runway from the models’ perspective as the 16 catwalk hopefuls vie to be paired with the winning designer of the series for a US$25,000 cash prize and a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine.

The LA series isn’t very good from all accounts so was hoping they’d jump straight to the next series, screening now in the US
