American cable television network TV Land has ordered its first original sitcom Hot in Cleveland starring Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick as women who end up moving to an old home in Cleveland.
In the pilot episode Betty White plays a cranky caretaker of the house, but so far she isn’t noted as a series regular.
Having proven she is still sharp, winning a Screen Actor’s Awards Lifetime Achievement, and landing a very funny Super Bowl ad, she is now being actively pursued by the network to appear in more eps.
10 episodes are currently on order from writer/executive producer Suzanne Martin (Frasier), and Hazy Mills Productions, co-owned by former Will and Grace star Sean Hayes.

It’s funny and the cast is amazing.
Betty White is funny and he lines are great.
I had no problem with the laughter so i think it’s great.
Need to see more than this short clip to know if it’s a really good show or not
Betty White is awesome and the cast looks okay but that canned laughter is way too much. I’d have to mute every few seconds!
It looks quite funny! I hope it shows through!
Talk about over the top canned laughter. I like Jane and Betty, but dont think I’ll be watching.
I love Betty White but that laugh track – sheez.
