AGT adds extra talent

Australia's Got Talent will now be extended for its first three episodes pushing back start times for Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice.

Seven will need to hope Australia’s Got Talent works for them after it has just confirmed the first three episodes will now be extended editions.

Tomorrow night it has a 100 minute episode then for the next two weeks 90 minute editions.

Grey’s Anatomy will now start at 9pm and Private Practice to 10pm on April 20 and 27th.

The moves mirror previous programming strategies for Dancing with the Stars in its heyday.

  1. I am thrilled that AGT is extended. I’ve watched all the seasons and hope this one will be the best.

I love Brian McFadden and i have everyone of his albums. The best thing for him was coming to Australia.

Kyle was good on idol and they are stupid to have let him go. Keeping him on the show doesn’t mean they agree with his behaviour. They could have made a statement and said ‘having kyle on idol doesn’t mean we agree with his behaviour but that he makes the show have really good raitings’

  2. This show would make more sense if there was “talent” on the panel. And, by the way… What is the status of McFadyen’s work permit?????? He surely couldn’t have a work permit for shacking up with our Delta????????? Name one of his hits…..(apart from Delta).

  3. I agree with Emily this practise is inconsiderate to existing viewers, which is still why I think All Saints suffered at times…

Same will and could happen for Greys and PP

  4. I’m sick of channel seven pushing back my favourite shows to add on an extra 30-40 minutes on a show that really does not need to go that long. Also I guarantee that Grey’s will not start at 9.10 tommorrow or 9.00 for the next few weeks. These shows always go over time anyway no matter how channel 7 extend the episode. My guess us We’ll be lucky to see grey’s before 9.20 pm tommorrow night.
