Gone: 20 to 1.

Bert's out next week, replaced by Big Bang Theory. And here's why you don't have to catch Underbelly on Sunday.

Nine has made more changes to its weeknight line up.

20 to 1 is now out of schedule with its Tuesday night 9:40 episode now replaced by The Big Bang Theory repeats next week.

If you’re confused about where the first-run episodes of the US sitcom are, and who wouldn’t be, they are 8pm Monday.

Following Hey Hey on Wednesday Nine premieres the US version of Who Do You Think You Are? followed by the replay of Underbelly (which was on a Tuesday this week).

As per yesterday’s article, this effectively means you won’t have to watch Underbelly on Sunday night because it already has a replay scheduled.

For that matter you won’t have to watch Survivor next Tuesday night either. It gets a replay 2:30pm Sunday May 2nd.

Strange days in Aussie telly…..

  1. Since Charlie Seen wants more money & is fighting with producers, it look’s like “Two & A Half Men” won’t be back on tv in the U.S this means there is some new episodes left that channel 9 haven’t show here in Australia. Two & A Half Men has some life left before it dies. Channel 9 need to build a bridge & get over it & replace it with something else.

  2. BTW, Survivor repeats have always been on a Sunday – for this series anyway.

Can everyone on here please apply to Nine for the programmers role. Seriously, anyone that comments here would be able to do a much better job than Nine’s lazy throw the magnetic strips at the white board (ala Micallef Tonight) programming technique or whoever they have ’employed’ for the job. Why the f-word can’t Nine stick to a god damn schedule? I’m getting sick of the constant changing schedule and the massive repeats of Big Bang and Two Men and a teenage girl.

  3. That is dissapointing!

This season has been great, although I don’t know why it was on so bloody late? I mean it was on at 10:10pm last week!

Isn’t 20 to 1 meant to be family viewing?

Bring it back at a more family friendly timeslot!

    What are Nein thinking?

  4. I’m so over the Big Bang Theory now that it is repeated so much on both 9 and GO. They should for example on Sunday and Thursday show 1 Big Bang Theory on GO followed by say Community and The Middle to try and make more successful comedies both these shows have been renewed for second seasons and the large audience for Big Bang could help them. Christine was another show that they stuffed up by putting it on at 10pm after Aliens In America. (which was a good show by the way but had already been axed and could of screened after Christine)

  5. I thought the glorious “Freeview” enabled PVRs to automatically record shows whenever they were new and they were on!

    Apparently not.

However, my non-Freeview PVR does exactly that. With a little help from Nein’s nemesis.

The future has been here for years. It’s only these clueless networks holding it back.

  6. I have Big Bang Theory on DVD so no repeats for me, but nice to see it getting more exposure. Its about a million times better than Two and a Half Men.

  7. I don’t get it.

Why promote the hell out of a show on Sunday night and then replay it later.

If you want the most viewers then leave it on one night.

  8. Big Bang is now the new Two and a Half Men. Both shows failed to attract an audience in the first instance, then they eventually picked up, now we are bombarded with it.

  9. Well that’s a let-down, as I don’t mind a little Bert after a busy day. It probably would have been the last episode to be shown before his Logies hosting gig. For anybody who is interested, the show was going to be counting down celebrity trendsetters.

  10. Bye-bye Bertie!

So how long (with the extra digital channels) before FTA will be like some PayTV channels and have “You can also watch this show at these times…” with multiply replays of it’s shows?
