Bumped: Chuck

It only started on GO! this week but Chuck will soon be shifting from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.

It only started on GO! this week but Chuck will soon be shifting from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.

From Wednesday June 2nd it will air at the new timeslot in place of Fringe which ends on May 26th.

GO! currently indicates a TBA in its place at 7:30pm.

It’s a little disappointing the show is moving around so soon on GO!

The show was renewed this week by NBC.

Update: Nine advises the move is due to classification.

  1. I loved it at 7.30 – there was nothing else on!, and then I switch to Lost. Sorry Chuck, won’t be watching you until the end of lost.

  2. This show totally outclassed master chef. And i’m glad it’s staying. But wished it stayed opposite master chef. After all there are millions of us Aussies who don;t like the show. And we need something to watch while that bore of a show is on. Wonder if networks or sponsors ever think of those of us., who aren’t counted in the ratings? We’re the voiceless masses.

  3. Watched Chuck last week and glad I did, will be back for more! I wish Nine/Go! would again screen Rome and Hotel Babylon and maybe (hopefully) Pushing Daisies also.

  4. Personally, I like the idea of Chuck moving to 8:30 because it means that it will now be repeated at 12am (like they did with Fringe) and I won’t have anymore PVR clashes at 7:30.

  5. Fringe, 24, Lost- the three regular shows I watch will all be gone by the end
of the month. I wish they had been paced out more evenly (7 could have saved 24 and aired it after lost, instead of following america’s time table )

  6. Watched a couple of episodes on Fox 8 last year but really got into it when I got series 1 & 2 for my Birthday last month can’t wait for series 3.

  7. This is good news. I really wanted to watch this, but not enough to miss Masterchef. And look on the bright side, at least it’s still on the air as opposed to the usual Nine treatment.

  8. Damn it! It was perfect in 7.30 so it didn’t conflict with The Pacific. I was always gonna get the DVD set of that anyway, so I guess I can still watch Chuck, but this is such a middle finger to those who decided to give it a GO!.

Also glad it got another shot in the arm.

  9. What utter rubbish!

So why couldn’t Chuck be kept at 7:30 and The Listener replace Fringe at 8:30? Is The Listener ever going to return to GO? Honestly, what a joke!

  10. I’d hardly call it a “bump” its technically a timeslot upgrade!

If it were moving from 7.30 to 10.30 that would be a disappointment; many shows premiere before/after decent raters before taking over that timeslot when the show ends.
