GO! returning late night replays

Nip / Tuck, The Inbetweeners, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Gossip Girl will soon be getting late night replays reinstated on GO!

GO! is set to reinstate its late-night replays.

Last month the channel began dropping some repeats to make room for Home Shopping.

Beginning on Monday May 17 key shows return to late repeats and continue across the week.

They include  Nip / Tuck, The Inbetweeners,  Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and Gossip Girl.

Currently only The Vampire Diaires, Community, ER, and Fringe enjoy the replay.

Recently viewers wrote to TV Tonight that “GO! was the last refuge from this dross and the only decent late night offering on TV. I really hope they reverse this decision asap”

  1. When is GO going to come Australia wide. I live in a capital city and we don’t even get it up here.

We get 7Two what is wrong with Channel Nine’s go???

  2. Good to hear but just wish it was clearer in the guides what episode is being played/repeated.

BTW it’s almost impossible to contact/give feedback to Go! online! Try it.

  3. Thank you Go! finally. It seems the Nine Network likes to ruin any point of difference that draws viewers in. I didn’t find out until I went to watch fev shows Gossip Girl, Sarah Connor & Inbetweeners and realised I had recorded Home Shopping (Which I hate)
For Byron’s information, the reason people were so upset about the repeats was because Go oiffered this service and it does bring in viewers.

  4. Yay, now I can go back to recording Sanctuary @ 9:30 on ABC2 & record Nip/Tuck later on. Monday nights is bad with 4 shows on at the same time, so I had to sacrifice Sanctuary.
It’s bad now, I hate to think what it will be like when there are extra channels.

  5. maybe last weeks vampire diaries timeshifted resulted prompted 9 to change their minds as the late night repeats are a perfect opportunity for people to record for later viewing.

  6. One of the reasons I originally got Foxtel was that I was working irregular hours (as so many people do these days) and when I’d get home from work in the early hours there was nothing but block advertising on the fta channels (except for the ABC). In this day and age there’s no excuse for the commercial networks not offering decent programming 24/7 on all their channels.

  7. I wish everybody would stop complaining. GO! isn’t required or expected to replay shows, so you should be thankful they are airing at all

  8. Bloody hell. I could have done with this last night. I didn’t get home until 10.20, was recording DH and Brothers & Sisters, so missed Nip/Tuck. Thanks for nothing GO!

  9. Good riddance to bad spam.

A seeming lifetime ago, then-prospective senator Steven Conroy told me in an email reply that he would be fighting against the blatant abuse of audiences that is this late-night block advertising. Of course, we know what a stand-up guy he turned out to be, so…. ah well.

  10. Great news, but too bad for anyone who was forced to miss a few weeks because of this idiocy, if it was reality rubbish who cares if you miss some episodes but with scripted drama missing episodes often forces people to drop the show entirely. Luckily I bought a new pvr because of this so I didn’t miss anything, but others are not so fortunate.
