ABC (US) picked up more series including new dramas for Joely Richardson and Matthew Perry.

ABC picked up six more series yesterday, to join superhero drama No Ordinary Family which was picked up mid-week:

The Whole Truth
A legal show whose alternative narrative structure shows the defense and prosecution sides equally, with Joely Richardson, Eamonn Walker, Sean Wing.

My Generation (previously titled “Generation Y”),
A doc-style scripted dramedy that follows a disparate group of former high school classmates.

Detroit 187
A real but humorous look at Detroit’s top homicide division as seen through the cameras of a fictitious doc crew.

Mr. Sunshine
A self-involved manager of a second-rate sports arena begins to re-evaluate his life on his 40th birthday, with Matthew Perry, Allison Janney, Andrea Anders, Nate Torrence.

Happy Endings
After a couple breaks up at the altar, they must figure out how to maintain their friendships, with Adam Pally, Casey Wilson, Damon Wayans Jr.

Better Together
About two couples in two very different relationships.

  1. Cop and lawyer shows. Boring, boring, boring. Where’s the originality?

    I can tell I won’t be watching any new shows on this network…come to think of it none of the new pilots on any of the US nets sound interesting
