Upfronts: The CW

The CW has two new series joining its Fall schedule -Nikita and Hellcats.

The CW has two new series joining its Fall schedule:

Nikita, a remake of the Luc Besson film and the ’90s syndicated hit starring Peta Wilson.

Hellcats, a cheerleading dramedy produced by Smallville‘s Tom Welling will star Ashley Tisdale.

Plain Jane, a new reality makeover show, will also get a summer run.

For the first time, The CW will have all-original lineup five days a week next fall that includes two debut dramas.

8 p.m. One Tree Hill
9 p.m. Life Unexpected

WEDNESDAY
8 p.m. America’s Next Top Model
9 p.m. Hellcats

THURSDAY

9 p.m. Nikita

FRIDAY
8 p.m. Smallville
9 p.m. Supernatural

  1. Maybe Fox8 should buy the rights to 90210. They used to show the original a few years ago, unless that was Arena. But anyway. Then they can show 90210 and GG together, and fast track it too 🙂 But I’m glad they’re on the same night now 🙂

  2. Great news for Maggie Q (Maggie Quigley), who will star in the remake of Nikita. She’s well known in Hong Kong and South East Asia for her movies and modelling work, and hopefully Nikita would boost her profile in the US (she’s originally born in Hawaii).

  3. Wow I didn’t notice the they are pairing Smallville and Supernatural once again, but now on Fridays, IMO it might be the final season for both shows.

    Hope we get LUX soon (David who has the rights here?)

    Nikita might be interesting.
