Julia Louis-Dreyfus finally got her own star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame this week.
But it turns out there was just major problem ahead of the moment: they spelled her name ‘Julia Luis Dreyfus.’
Doh.
David Daniel, an entertainment producer (and blogger) for CNN, noticed the brand-new star hours before the unveiling ceremony.
Upon hearing the news, a press representative for the Walk of Fame admitted she “almost puked” about the mistake.
But the Seinfeld and New Adventures of Old Christine actress found the gaffe “hysterical” and wanted the star kept as it was. What a gal.
Having an error surely would have made it more of a tourist point of interest….
Workmen had chiselled out the “Luis” and replaced it with a temporary “Louis” for the unveiling.
The star will be permanently repaired soon.
