Yo Yo Man fools US TV hosts

'K-Strass' bluffed his way onto two US television shows purporting to be a Yo-Yo expert. Until it was time for a demonstration.

Get a load of Kenny ‘K-Strass’ Strasser (asssuming that’s even his real name). He bluffed his way onto two US television shows purporting to be a Yo-Yo expert.

He talked the talk but didn’t particularly walk the walk… or walk the dog for that matter.

When it came to demonstrating his skills, everything began to fall apart.

But while television presenters kept ploughing ahead on auto-pilot it seems they didn’t manage to notice his comic timing.

Clearly someone has worked up a bit of an act here and taken American TV for a ride.

Who’da thunk?

  1. That is Gold!!!!!

The guy is excellent with that deadpan delivery. And the reporter’s question: “How often do you actually mess around with your yoyo” had me on the floor!

This guy is straight out of ‘Waiting for Guffman’ or ‘Best in Show’.

  2. That was absolute balls-out brilliance. I haven’t laughed like that since Howard lost the last election. What a legend. I want to give that man all my money so he can make a television show I’d actually watch… Mr. Show, eat your heart out!

  3. What a champion!! How could you not love that guy! So brave to actually appear on live television and promote something that he’s no good at.

By the way, does anyone know who won the BBQ they were giving out?

  4. I think it’s brilliant and highlights how shallow these programs are. You’d think they’d actually check his claims before putting him on air, wouldn’t you?

  5. News story i read claims he appeared on five local talk programs and was scheduled to appear on another four before producers were tipped-off and pulled the plug.

    Not that funny …
