FOX Sports has signed a 3 year deal for the Australian Superbike Championships after the end of its deal with ONE.

FOX Sports has signed a 3 year deal for the Australian Superbike Championships, effective immediately.
It has assumed the rights for the remainder 2010 series, after ONE provided coverage of the opening round from Phillip Island in February. A 90-minute highlights package from Darwin’s Hidden Valley Raceway, will be screened on Thursday June 10th. A highlights packages from each remaining round of the ASBK series will follow later this season.
The Australian Superbike Championships is contested over seven rounds across four states and territories.
Soames Treffry, Director FOX Sports Channels said, “The Australian Superbike Championships has a good following and is a strong addition to our motorsport family, which includes live and exclusive coverage of the Superbike World Championship.
“Fans love both series and so having both on FOX Sports will be advantageous for Superbike followers.”
ONE will no longer screen the Superbike World Championships.

All we need now is some decent commentators. Fox should get Mr Superbike Rob Phillis, he is a great character who tells it how it is, much in the style of Barry Sheene, and that would certainly liven things up.
Dont think ONE ever Broadcasted the WSB championship and they only had ASK championship last year I think, with it previously being on SBS, but correct me if im wrong.
ONE lose one sport, and they gain another
I’d have to say, this tussle between ONE and FOX Sports is very very interesting!
ONE has the big crowd puller with Moto GP. Fox must still be smarting over losing that.
It’s a big loss to One as there are so many holes in the channel’s schedule.
