Just when you thought it couldn’t get any more camp…
Matt Lucas is the latest name to land a role in Glee.
The Little Britain star will play a muddled Brit teacher with a secret love for musicals, reports UK newspaper The Sun.
A solo song is also being lined up.
Lucas was recently announced as working on a new BBC series, tentatively titled Come Fly With Me with David Walliams.
Last night Glee hit a new high in Australia with 1.41m viewers.

Mark, that would be a good idea. But i would rather see his “only gay in the village” character do it. (sorry his name eludes me.) I hope glee make use of him in a better way than neighbours did.
Loved last night’s Glee … great GaGa stuff and the Kiss stuff was also excellent …
I am glad there is no more of that woman who was in the US Kath & Kim … she was just horrific!
I hope he sings about Baked Potatoes.
Glee was god-awful last night!!! I wish this show would be more consistent. Love Matt Lucas though!
All the stunt/name casting is getting a little old.
And shame on Channel 10 for putting the series on hold for 2 weeks. I’ll be watching the remainder of the series via other means. Being 2 weeks behind the US was bad enough, but 4 weeks is ridiculous. We Gleeks need to know how New Directions does at the Regionals!
This is amazing news..I’d hoped he would do the role in one of his “drag” characters, especially Bubbles de Vere
