On Wednesday July 7th Hey Hey it’s Saturday won’t be resting despite the third State of Origin match.
Instead it will air live into Melbourne at 7:30pm but play at 10:30pm in Sydney and Brisbane.
Adelaide and Perth times will be 7:30pm local as usual.

No Melbourne does Not care about state of origin.
The 2 People that really care about that crap can go have a cry.
Not that I care about Hey Hey either.
The World Cup would nudge out State of Origin in the bore factor ranking…..just.
@Darwinite: State of Origin will be shown live in Darwin (and the rest of NT) from 7pm local time, as has been the case with previous matches. Tasmania usually follows the Victorian schedule, so the match will be shown after Hey Hey It’s Saturday.
I think Hey, Hey should be live on GO for people who aren’t into the State of Orgin like myself
Typical of ch9 in Melbourne. They are supposedly a station with the rugby league contract, and the Melbourne station (under a former AFL official)are ensuring the game is shelved whenever possible,as they do with the Friday night game.
The sooner the game gets a Tv station that apart from showing the code ,promotes it ,the better .Channel 9 Melbourne are a sporting disgrace.
Just put Hey Hey On Saturday Night and the SOO on Wedensday. It’s clearly the resolution here?
