Wouldn’t you call this Nine’s old arrogance? It seems Seven has become complacent, whilst Nine seems to constantly be trying to improve its news and find better stories. It seems seven now have the “Maintain the arrogance” sticker all over their news rooms lol
don’t they have 2 months over summer of for this sought of thing? I mean it’s nice that seven are trusting the audience…
l would prefer to see Rebecca replacing Peter and Jen staying on weekends.
‘newsworthiness’ – no pun intended.
You may have missed the earlier story where Nine’s Presenter is going on holidays? The newsworthiness is in News management by Nine v Seven as evidenced here.
Newsreader goes on holiday. I’m sorry but what is the newsworthiness of this ?
Good to see 7 giving a woman the chair. I enjoy watching Peter Mitchell. he and Sandy Roberts work well and I enjoy the banter. But I enjoy Jennifer reading the news on the weekend so it will be good during the week.
it’s a shame we don’t see or hear more of pete and jen together as a team much. whenever we do like at the logies, good friday, on radio they are a real hoot.
Definitely need to see more Rebecca Maddern 🙂
Peter and Jen were at 3AW studio this morning speaking to Neil Mitchell. It was quite a funny chat. Peter said he would take his family to Europe where he would play golf and visit the British Open at St Andrews. Lucky for them.
And I do love seeing Rebecca Maddern on the weekends!
I love when Jen read the news…. There’s something about her enunciation which I ca;t get enough of. 🙂
Happy Birthday to Peter, and a well earned break,
