Stargate Universe: season two trailer

If you saw Friday night's Stargate Universe finale then you're all clear to watch the second season trailer. Otherwise....

Stargate Universe had its first season finale on the Sci Fi channel last night.

Season Two begins in the US in October with “Intervention,” picking up where the finale left off -so be careful of Spoilers if you didn’t see the S1 finale.

The episode will also introduce Robert Knepper’s (Prison Break, Heroes) Lucian Alliance character, Simeon.

  1. Is that Robert Knepper? Cool!

SGU second half of season one was great!

I was a big fan of the other SG series and have to admit was not really into SGU for most of the first half of season one. However it picked up and then the second half was one of the best shows around at the moment.

Really looking forward to this returning. The show seems to be on the up and up, constantly improving.

  2. i started watching this on channel 10.. then it was cancelled.. what happened to it? why doesn’t channel 10 have a digital network they can send stuff like thsi to, rather than their all-sports version…

  3. not as good as bsg or caprica in terms of artistic merit or “emotional darkness” but as someone who has seen both bsg and caprica and the every episode of the Stargate SG1 and Atlantis i can say SGU is still pretty sweet. its entertaining in a dark way but it does have moments where i feel the “emotions” are a little fake or forced. but story wise and action sequences are great and definitely worth the time to watch for its saturday night style entertainment value.

  4. It’s the first time I’ve ever watched a season of the Stargate franchise right through and I really enjoyed it. Will definitely be coming back for Season 2.

  5. I think it does get better as the season goes on. I think the main problem is a lot of but people expected it to be a clone of the original. SGU is darker with more drama, much more like Battlestar than StarGate, IMHO.

  6. @Craig: Did this show improve much after the god-awful first couple of Eps? I had to stop watching it on FTA – even Robert Carlyle couldn’t save it.

  7. I like the show and OMG the final (I hate cliffhangers!) now we have to wait month to see it resolved… or years if this every shows up on TENs 3rd channel?

Since this was on SciFi less than a week after the US SyFy I waited and watch/recorded it last night. See FTA networks fast tracking works, you broadcast it we will watch!

BTW are we every getting a name change to match the US SyFy?
