7TWO will finally air the now-defunct series My Own Worst Enemy which has been gathering dust on the Seven shelves.

The series follows the life of American secret agent Edward Albright, played by Christian Slater, whose cover alias, Henry Spivey, has no knowledge of his double life. Albright was implanted with a chip that allowed his handlers to physically switch Albright’s personality to that of his alias.

Albright is an operative who speaks 13 languages, runs a four-minute mile, and is trained to kill with his teeth. Henry and Edward are polar opposites who share only one thing in common – the same body.

It also features Taylor Lautner and Saffron Burrows.

Just nine episodes of the NBC drama aired in the US.

Updated: It premieres 11:40pm Tuesday July 20th on 7TWO (12:40am Syd / Bris)

  1. They should have held off on this to replace Knight Rider/Reaper when their seasons finished. Its bound to do better in the demos than half the crap they’re airing in primetime on 7TWO

  2. If they put it on earlier they could get 13 year old girls to boost the ratings.
(Although I think they like the pasty vampire more.) 🙂

  3. Thanks David, do you know how many eps they have, will we get more than the 9 that aired in the US?

I liked the show, just a pity that once again a some what original show didn’t last the first season.

FYI for those who don’t know since this show Christian Slater has does another ‘The Forgotten’ which also only lasted a season. Guess that might show up locally in 2011?
