He’s created Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and Firefly and he’s headed to Sydney next month.
Screenwriter Joss Whedon will appear at An Evening with Joss Whedon at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall on Sunday August 29.
Whedon will discuss outsider heroes, strong female characters and the uses and abuses of power and the creative ways in which he has played these out in a variety of media forms.
His first writing gig was on Roseanne. Later credits include Titan A.E., Speed, Alien Resurrection and Toy Story plus Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.

I may have had to pay $50 to see him talk for an hour, but there is no price to be put on hearing your hero speak in person.
Sob! boo hoo! not fair. damn my agoraphobia and fear of flying! would be fanastic. Ive watched some extras from the buffy box set and he speaks well and I have a heap of questions to ask him. There is talk of a new buffy movie but might of been an unsubstantiated rumour.
