Charlie Sheen to resume work

Charlie Sheen will return to work next week for Season 8 of Two and a Half Men despite his legal woes still unresolved.

Executive producer Chuck Lorre says, “I was in denial through the whole process.

“I was just hoping that everything would work out. I was hoping he would come back because we have a lot more stories to tell.”

Lorre says there would be no show without Sheen, and he is deeply relieved that everything worked out.

“I love the show and I love the cast and we have a great group of writers who have been a family for seven years. I certainly didn’t want it to end,” he says.

“But if it did end, we had a great run.”

Although a plea deal is not yet finalised, the assurance the production team has received is a clear sign Sheen will probably get a better deal than the original deal that fell apart back in June.

  1. Can Sheen stay sober and be kept away from the kitchen cutlery for a whole season? Chuck Lorre and the rest of the 2.5 “family” must be hoping the answer is yes, but they’d have to be shopping their resumes around just in case.

  2. Charlie Sheen . I have no respect for men who treat their wives the way he does. I’m surprised that he has such a great following. Happy to say I’m not one of his supporters. And the people who pay this guy a million $, or so, per episode also do not have my respect. I wouldn’t watch his show if it were the only one on tv.

  3. I actually had the opportunity to tour the set about a couple of weeks ago, and the tour employee said that they normally film an episode about four weeks in advance for sitcoms. I guess they start a bit earlier when the season commences, which makes sense.

They wouldn’t let us take cameras onto the set, because apparently it is “top secret”.

The set looks much smaller than it does on the show, and the outside window was simply a green screen with production equipment visible.

Yeah, and I touched the doorknob, haha.

Just thought I’d share that 🙂
