TEN has confirmed its acquisitions Raising Hope and Mixed Signals from the FOX output deal it shares with Foxtel.
Raising Hope. Sitcom from Greg Garcia (My Name is Earl) that follows the Chance family as they find themselves adding an unexpected new member. 23-year-old Jimmy must raise his infant daughter, conceived by a one-night stand, with the help of his flawed family after the baby’s mother is sent to jail. Lucas Neff will play Jimmy with Martha Plimpton playing his mother, Virginia. Cloris Leachman play’s Jimmy’s grandmother, Maw Maw. It premieres in the US in September.
Mixed Signals is a new comedy series about three longtime friends and their attempts to reconcile the irreconcilable: to balance their relationships with their need for freedom. The series reveals how friendships and romances enhance – and further complicate – the lives of men and the women who love them. Stars Kris Marshall, Nelson Franklin, Alexandra Breckenridge.
“We chose the two sitcoms because a, they were just hilarious and b, we knew we had three very good dramas coming out of CBS,” David Mott tells The Australian.

What are the 3 CBS dramas? Hawaii 5-0? And there are others?
According to Ten insiders they have picked up Lonestar. Phew.
Fail or not this should be on Foxtel Only
I see from the other article it does. That’s a shame, I was more interested in Lonestar than Mixed Signals.
Does this anouncement mean Lonestar has gone to Foxtel?
Yes, see story on The Gates.
i agree with you mr do bee I remember martha as a teenager in the Goonies
I suddenly feel very old. Martha Plimpton is playing the mother of an adult son.
Poor Cloris.
FOX sitcoms never last unless they are of the animated genre; but I hope they work for Ten.
