Nine has spruiked its upcoming shows for 2010 to advertisers in a glam showreel fronted by Kate Ritchie and Damian Walshe-Howling.
Top Gear Australia will launch with an “international special event.” The Farmer Wants a Wife has “a new twist.” Big promises to be a supersized version of The Biggest Loser but has “no tricks, no competitions and no humiliation” hosted by Deborah Hutton. Random Acts of Kindness features Karl Stefanovic, Simone Jade-McKinnon and Scott Cam. Russell Crowe again narrates The Secret Millionaire.
Cricket will start earlier, in November.
GO! will fastrack Season 3 of Fringe, Season 2 of V, Season 2 of Community, Season 2 of The Middle and Season 2 of The Vampire Diaries. There will be new seasons of Wife Swap and Wipeout.

Survivor Nicaragua starts in the US on Sept 15th. I guess there’s no date yet for it to start here?
Is there any word on whether Nikita, Undercovers and Mike & Molly will be fast tracked to Nine? And the same with Southland, Hellcats and Pretty Little Liars?
Also, I stopped watching Fringe early in Season 1 when it was being messed around with on Nine and wasn’t able to watch 1-2 on Go! How lost will I be if I start watching from Season 3?
SouthLAnd on Go! gives me stomach cramps. that show is awesome!
Calling it now, that the Politically Incorrect Parenting Show will be canned after the first episode. The promos just seemed So awful.
“The farmer wants a wife with a twist” ??? maybe theres something about mary?
“Big supersized version of Biggest Loser” How much bigger can it get? I’ll need a new widescreen TV with at least 50″. If theres no vote offs then it sounds good.
Also, I agree with everyone saying fast-track Survivor to Thursday nights, which would mean it would be shown only a few hours after the US. It’s the only show I’ll be watching on Nine.
Survivor: Nicaragua is gonna be awesome. Can’t wait.
Im guessing that the Underbelly telemovies and The Panic at rock island wont be aired this year but rather next year???
I love ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’
Were they going to screen the US version or do their own version?
I had been holding off on Human Target because it was coming to FTA – wont make that mistake again.
What happened to series 2 and 3 of Primeval? Getting a few years old now…
Yawn
Whose line? Do you know if this was US repeats, or an Aussie version? Damn I love that show, have watched all 8 seasons at least 3 times 😀
Good to see that they’re intending to show The Middle. Still a lot of unaired Season 1 episodes, so hopefully 9 gets around to showing them before Season 2 starts. But then again, I wouldn’t get my hopes up that Season 2 is going to be fast tracked at all, considering 9’s track record of promising new shows and not showing them.
So looking forward to Fringe returning. Would have liked Whose line is it anyway to have been shown. Awesome funny show.
I”m pumped about fringe and V,good on “em.No surprise that flashpoint disapeared,Someone at channel nine must really hate that show.
Southland is on GO! I’m going to be amazed how they can shuffle a show with one 7 episode season and then a 6 episode season.
Am looking forward to Star Trek the original series on GO! when they finally decide to show it.
So fringe will be fast tracked, but won’t be on tv until next year??
I’ve been waiting for this AFP show since last year, will it actually ever see the light of day?
AFP looks hot.
Survivor is the only interesting one.
Why ditch Whose Line is it Anyway? A great show that is.
Any word on Dante’s Cove? Or have the authorities made it too ‘controversial’ toshow!
Wait, they were supposed to be showing Whose Line is it Anyway? Make it happen 9!
No video sorry.
List does not include shows already scheduled including Hot in Cleveland for next week.
seasons is “seasons” not “seassons .
nothing really interesting in that bunch really….. but I am looking forward to the new Betty White show – thought that was coming to nine next week???
