Post MasterChef: Undercover Boss, Recruits, Simpsons, Rules of Engagement, Jamie Oliver

TEN wheels out Modern Family twice a week, US hit series Undercover Boss, new Simpsons and more.

TEN has released its post MasterChef schedule.

As expected the MasterChef finale airs 7:30pm Sunday July 25. The two hour finale pulls out TEN’s traditional big event programming strategy with a final 30 minutes coded as “The Winner Announced.” Likely to be the live element.

It will be followed by US hit series Undercover Boss (pictured) at 9:30pm which becomes a 7:30pm Monday show from July 26th.

As tipped to air twice a week, Modern Family will screen on Sundays (6:30pm July 25) and Tuesdays (now 7:30pm from July 27). Rules of Engagement will follow both episodes.

New eps of The Simpsons resume Wednesday July 28th at 7:30pm  and 8:00pm.

Bondi Vet
settles into Thursday 7:30pm from July 29th (a sneak peek episode airs this week) while  Recruits begins Thursday July 29th at 8:00pm. Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution begins this Friday 16 July at 9.00pm, but shifts to 7:30pm Friday from July 30th.

Corrected.

  1. Airing Modern Family twice a week will ruin it IMO. And it’s a terrible move to put Rules of Engagement (crap show) in between Modern Family and TBYG.

  2. I agree with all about Modern Family 6.30 Sunday nights I’m enjoying the show and I just don’t think I’ll make it in time each week; it is too early and once I start to miss a few episodes I start to drop shows and I don’t want to have to drop Modern Family; urgh. I’ll set the PVR up anyway but its in a slot I don’t think about cause I’m not usually ready to sit down until 7.30.

  3. I know it not a Ten show but any news on Shameless series 7 on SBS?

The advert that aired during the World Cup said it would be returning “after the cup” but didn’t specify exactly when.

  4. lots of weak spots in the schedule, the 9:30 slots will let them down. and rush, simpsons, rules, GNW, NCIS(R), outrageous fortune will have to pull something out of the hat to keep their place. and shows like recruits and modern family are yet to be tested without a masterchef leadin. so i think it is a very unstable schedule.

surprising they haven’t planned to launch a big expensive new reality or drama series off the back of masterchef which will get huge figures over the next fortnight. seems like a golden opportunity wasted. now and big show they have for the rest of the year is going to have to be promoted during this c**p.

  5. I haven’t watched Ch 10 while MC has been on air and besided Rush, looks like it is all too confusing to bother with shows on twice at different times. A confusing schedule…

  6. Can’t get too excited about this. Sounds more like The Lifestyle Channel line-up. Why put Jamie Oliver up against BHG? Hardly a vote of confidence.

I guess Channel Simpsons is going to be renamed Channel Simpsons and Channel Modern Family.

  7. Wonder where Offspring will turn up? Is Sunday 830 the only choice? A good replacement for The Good Wife audience. That would be brave but it looks like the only option. Monday 830 against RSO, Tuesday – Rafters, Wednesday CH?

  8. this reads like a mess of a schedule. And why Modern Family on Sunday at 6:30pm? That is too early in the evening. Basically proves Ten has nothing else for the rest of the year and are scraping to pull together a prime time schedule without its reality tv shows

  9. Rules of Engagement is a guilty pleasure of mine but I’ve seen the rest of the season… Yay new Simpsons, oh seen that as well, ditto for MF. Sorry TEN you snooze you loose!

IMO ‘Undercover Boss’ could be fun but might work better if they made a local version, maybe if the US one works they’ll take the plunge for 2011?

  10. Woo hoo – new Simpsons – about time! Wonder how long Ten will unleash new Modern Family – or will it be repeats already- hope not – they can’t have more than a couple of months worth of unseen – don’t think they will fast track new eps

  11. And … Talkin` `Bout Your Generation will fill the 7:30 pm Sunday slot from 2 August 2010. TEN advertised it last night during MasterChef.

  12. I really like Modern Family but won’t they run out of episodes pretty quick if it’s on twice a week? How long has the show been running in America?
