Airdate: Teen Choice Awards 2010

Spoiler: Here are the TV winners from the Teen Choice Awards along with where you can watch it on Channel TEN.

The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl and Glee were the big winners in TV wins at the Teen Choice Awards 2010.

Co-hosted by Katy Perry and Glee’s Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale and Cory Monteith at Universal City, California, it awarded surf board-shaped gongs in film, television, music, sports and fashion (and you thought the Logies were long?).

The freewheeling ceremony was punctuated with several silly moments, including George Lopez appearing in drag as an older Kardashian sister, Betty White interrupting Sandra Bullock’s acceptance speech for choice movie drama actress and Katy Perry reliving high school days by dressing up as cheerleader, geek, hippie, prom queen and goth.

Chuck‘s Yvonne Strahovski was the sole Aussie to collect an award despite wins for Sam Worthington, Liam Hemsworth, Mia Wasikowska and Keith Urban. Cate Blanchett and Russell Crowe were also nominated.

It will air at 2pm Sunday August 22nd on TEN.

  1. I can tell you first hand, it was very funny watching all the tweens line up at Universal Studio Gibson Theatre on Sunday afternoon all hyperventilating at prospect of seeing the Justin Beeber… very funny

  2. Not that i am overly interested but it is a joke that it takes 2 weeks for an awards show to be shown over here…… imagine if this happened to the Oscars….. i know it is not on the same scale but still stupid. Pay TV should have picked it up.
