The topics on [V] Rater to be raised vary from the flippant -“who is the hottest pollie”- to serious issues such as climate change and education.

Here’s what [V] has in store:

With Australia heading to the polls next Saturday 21 August, Channel [V], Australia’s leading youth music channel, is letting its viewers tell us how they really feel about this federal election.

Starting from Monday, [V] Rater will offer an interactive forum from 4.00pm daily in the lead up to polling day. During the 60min daily show, viewers can SMS their opinions on the hottest topics of the day. From the big election issues such as who is the hottest pollie and who looks better in speedos, to the more important stuff like climate change and education.

[V] Rater is a daily music countdown show of the most popular videos of the day. Viewers vote online for the songs they want played at www.vmusic.com.au and Channel [V] presenters Danny Clayton, Billy Russell, Kyle Linahan and Jane Gazzo deliver the goods.

Every day next week, viewers’ thoughts, opinions and debates on the election will be scrolled across the screen in real time.
