Glee: Next stop, Justin Bieber.
"If he was interested I would make that happen," says creator Ryan Murphy.

In Glee story #759, crator Ryan Murphy says he would love to have teen singing sensation Justin Bieber come to McKinley High.
“Well, the kids sing his stuff all day long. Yeah, they do,” he said of his cast’s backstage vocal moments. “They sing ‘Baby.’
“I think he’s so phenomenally talented and I think he’s great. So, yes, if he was interested I would make that happen.”
Now I know the show is a bittersweet comedy, and I know it’s all about pop culture, but is there somewhere we can please vote not to have this happen?

I agree with Daydreamz. I predict a big backlash is on the way for Glee, perhaps unprecedented in recent history. The stunt casting and rumours are out of control, and much seems to be perpetuated by Murphy, who is quoted in the media every day. Just like a pop group that gets over-exposed, I think this show will (sadly) become a victim of its own success, much faster than it would without the hype.
Ugh!
Oh well, loathed Ryan Murphy anyway considering he turned Nip/Tuck to s**t/didn’t care about it thanks to this awful, awful show.
This isn’t surprising to me but i think Justin Bieber will be better on glee then CSI but this won’t stop me from watching. I wouldn’t call him the best but i don’t get why there so many haters he’s not as bad as everyone says but thats just my opinion.
Noooooooooooo! Glee started off as a wonderful show that pulled in viewers because of the characters and the music. Now, it’s all about stunt casting and how many songs they can squeeze into one episode. Just when I was starting to believe that Glee would return to its roots in Season 2, they decide to put Justin Bieber into the show. Glee was originally described as “like High School Musical has been punched in the stomach and had its lunch money stolen”. It’s starting to become the opposite. I don’t want Glee to turn into a “spot the guest-star celebrity” show.
As soon as that Beiber twit is on or even recognised on the show… I’ll stop watching. Barf.
Well, the singers on Glee can actually sing, which Justin cannot so maybe they would improve his songs….
I always knew this show was aimed at kids, that’s why I never got into it.
I’d rather see Mark Latham on there !
I know there is a News section, a Programming section, a Pay TV section and a Ratings section but I think we now need a Glee Daily Rumours section…
IMO nothing Murphy has said is going to happen. There is no way a producer would ever release so much information for a show with so much buzz-what’s the point (and I don’t think network execs would allow it). From now on everything I read is not happening at all
Pretty clever- jeep the buzz going without actually giving anything away…
Damn Glee’s jumping the shark rather early.
whilst i dont like ‘baby’, i have to qualms about it being on Glee.
however i dont like the super increase of guest stars and theme shows set to appear in the next season. sure, NPH was great last season, and Olivia was good too,
but already we have a Britney ep, a Susan Boyle ep, another Madonna ep, and now rumors of a Beiber ep. the show was much better in the first half of season 1 where the show wasnt run by who was the biggest star they could get for the week……
I so hope that if Justin Bieber goes on Glee, the first thing we see is him being thrown into the dumpster by the jocks at the school……and then have the jocks tip soda onto his head..that would be only a small payback for the terrrible songs he sings on radio.
Please, for the love of God, Nooooooooooo!!!!!!! I freaking hate that kid!!
nooooooooooooooo but the thought of lea michele murdering him in vocals is appealing
Just tell me where that vote is happening and I will be there.
This almost undoes the goodwill created by the George Michael, Britney and Sir Paul McCartney post….
Only if there’s a scene where he gets slushee’d mercilessly!
If glee is going to become all about stunt casting I’m gone. Will and Grace lost me for a few season because every episode felt as if it were another ‘special guest star’ they rattled the guests off in Season 6 and 7 I don’t want Glee to go down that path; the show is fantastic, the writing is brilliant and the cast are likeable, ratings are good there simply is no need to stunt cast this show.
If Bieber is on Glee than I will stop watching… or throw something at the TV and I don’t want to do that to my LCD!
Sounds like season 2 is going to become an artist-of-the-week show instead of season 1’s mostly theme-of-the-week. I hope they don’t stay down that path for too long.
runs in slow motion towards the beiberbomb “nnnnnnnnooooo!!!!!!!!!”
Lazy Gaga i could understand, but not this, Anything but this? What about the children? won’t someboy Please think of the children?
thought u oughta know.. *passes out*
