Gone: The Middle

More Seinfeld replays will replace The Middle on GO! from next Tuesday night.

More switches for GO! will see The Middle disappear from Tuesday and Wednesday nights from next week.

Next Tuesday night it will play Seinfeld eps at 8:30 – 9:30 instead of The Big Bang Theory and The Middle.

On Wednesday night both shows are also out from 7:30 – 8:30. Seinfeld episodes will run from 7:30 – 9:30.

  1. also is getting to be annoying when they advertise a movie all week and then when it comes to the day is meant to be on its taken off and 6 eps of big bang is put on what the heck is going on its either you should stick to your schedule and show what you have advertised and not change it to something else …..and also sick of the movies they are repeats why not show new movies that have to been on other networks b4 every year we see the same old crap movie on at least up to 4 time in a year there is alot of movies that come out on dvd so why not get them on to tv ……….

  2. well this is a bit stupid but how can The Middle disappear from Tuesday and Wednesday nights from next week when is has not even been back if it has i never seen it

  3. I hope they dont screw up fringe when it returns, otherwise ill be really……..ah who am i kidding, they make the decisions,we have to live with em.

  4. @Paull: That’s me too! I loved GO! when it first started up, and earlier this year Wed nights was solid GO! for me. Likewise, since Fringe and Sarah Connor Chronicles (and all the other good original content) have finished, I’m struggling to think of anything I’ve watched on GO!

Chopping and changing as they’ve been doing lately just makes a bad lineup worse. The same people who determine programming at Nine must also be responsible for GO!, or else they use the same dartboard.

  5. Um? when was the middle back on this week? Didn’t show up in my epg. I have been checking every week. Yeah just like everyone else I would have watched it too. Its a shame, and to be honest I think that the middle is good enough to be shown on 9. Sitcoms always struggle to find audiences these days, so if they put it after a 2.5 men ep, it would grow in audience.

  6. Have Channel 9 maybe only brought GO! along to take some of the heat off Nine for all their reprogramming?

“If you thought we were bad, wait til you see Go! You won’t even remember what complaining about Nine sounded like!”

  7. This’d be so they don’t have too many Big Bangs in one week so they can – again at the extreme last minute- pull the Thursday night movie for a Big Bang marathon.

As for the Middle – this has been pulled before going to air too many times to count now. Feel sorry for the fans.

  8. Has this channel been secretly renamed Viewers Go! F**** Yourselves? They should just put the viewers of others shows out of their misery now and let them know that henceforth every single timeslot on Go will now be filled with either Top Gear, Big Bang Theory or Seinfeld.

  9. argh, none of GO!’s stuffing around has really affected me thus far. i don’t watch eastwick, gossip girl, chuck, terminator, nip/tuck, hells kitchen ect ect. but this is a show i really like and was looking forward to. but i’m hardly surprised.

  10. Re-flippen-diculous! Honestly, and I wonder why I haven’t watched GO! since Fringe ended. I also can’t believe there was a time (august-october last year) where GO! was my most watched channel. I hope GO! fails miserably, because if nine can’t treat their “secondary” channel viewers with respect, what’s the point of having it?

Again, this just makes me so angry, the next time I hear a GO! programming related story, it better be about nine drop GO! completely.

  11. I didn’t even realise ‘The Middle’ was back on otherwise I would have watched it. I think its hilarious 🙂

As for more Seinfeld, it seems to be ‘The Simpsons’ for GO! Because they are playing way too much of it now.

  12. Honestly, I can’t even be bothered trying to keep up with Go anymore. Just tired of it being run by programmers with an extreme case of ADHD and having to change things every five minutes- sometimes changing schedules just hours before airtime. It is ridiculous but the sad thing is it will probably get them the required numbers which defies all sense of reason.

  13. Again what is the point of an alternate channel if they are just going to play re-runs for ratings?

IMO the digital channels should have not been including in the ratings for the first year or more!

  14. Aaaaarrrrggggghhhhhhhhh Seriously its like the one show I’ve waited for on TV and haven’t resorted to alternate means; GO you F%^* everything up.
